Aeroplane salvage of B-25C Mitchell N5-153.

Description

Ground personnel of 18 Squadron of the Netherlands East Indies Air Force (NEI-AF) haul down the tail to allow the forward fuselage to be raised for salvage operations. The aeroplane crashed on landing at Batchelor airfield on 9 September 1943 when the nose wheel and flaps refused to work after an evening bombing raid at Ambon.
